Members Projects
Our members have made some wonderful things at Shedders and Fixers. Check out our gallery to see some of the projects we’ve done here at the shed.

Commissioned Projects
We have often collaborated with various local charities, community groups and even had some private requests, to commission an item or to repair something, please get in touch with us to discuss your ideas.
Here’s just some of the commissioned projects we’ve done in the last year.
- Fenland Orchard: Created ‘Wassailing’ costumes for their Wassailing ceremony to bless the apples for a good harvest.
- National Trust, Peckover House – Built and painted a Golf Game.
- National Trust, Octavia Hill Birthplace: Large scale, oak leaf, now in place in the Centenary Green.
- Nine Lives productions for the Secret Garden: Built a set of ‘Squidward’ legs for their production of Spongebob SquarePants.
- Gorilla Circus: Members helped to create a giant metal head for a large-scale, outdoor production in Yarmouth.
- Market Place Arts: To create and paint a set of buildings replicating Wisbech Market Place town square, and a set of figures of our Shedder’s team, all for a diorama which was on display at the Wisbech and Fenland Museum.
- Heather’s Hedgehog charity: Made boxes for robins, swifts, tits, dormice and bats.
- Therapeutic Community Farm: Designed and made a large-scale metalwork sculpture of a horse – named ‘Sonic’. The Wisbech Yarnbombers have since covered Sonic in crocheted poppies for Armed Forces Day, and turned him into a reindeer for Christmas.
- Private commission: Created outdoor figures of reindeer and a Christmas tree for a local family and their daughter.
Here’s some of the pictures from some of these commissioned, community projects.
