Welcome to Shedders and Fixers

ENJOY.  CREATE.  SOCIALISE

(Charity Number: 1210087)

Shedders and Fixers is a charitable organisation run by a group of dedicated, hard-working volunteers. We are based in a polytunnel shed near Wisbech, on the site of Secret Garden Touring Park.

Whether you are looking for somewhere to work on a project, want to spend time in the company of other crafters, or need the space and equipment to realise your creative vision, then Shedders and Fixers can help.

Our members have a huge range of skills, knowledge and abilities and we welcome everyone regardless of age, abilities or disabilities. We are wheelchair accessible and aim to be fully inclusive for all. Just drop in during our opening times or contact us for more details.

Here are just a few of the crafts you can try at Shedders and Fixers

The shed is made up of three key areas: A large woodworking space, a self-contained metalwork shed and a separate crafting shed. There is also our new kitchen space where we gather for our hard-earned tea and biscuits (and on occasion, a bacon or sausage butty!)

Our new kitchen is a fully accessible space where we can enjoy a nice cup of tea or coffee and a biscuit or two. It’s also the perfect place to enjoy a piece of birthday cake!

We’ve seen lots of new crafters join us, bringing all their knowledge and skills, and we’ve held lots of successful workshops already this year, but that is just the start. There’s so much more to come. Keep and eye on our Current Workshops and Events page for details of all the activities on offer over the next few months.

CAMBRIDGESHIRE COMMUNITY LOTTERY: Super Draw prize – £1,000 IKEA Gift Card or £1,000 cash alternative

In the last few months alone, the lottery has raised £200 from the sale of tickets to friends, family, our members and supporters. With this money we have been able to book places for First Aid training for two of our members. That has allowed us to increase the availability of First Aiders during opening hours, our workshops and other on-site events.
