Shedders and Fixers is a charitable organisation run by a group of dedicated, hard-working volunteers. We are based in a polytunnel shed near Wisbech, on the site of Secret Garden Touring Park. We have facilities and materials for most woodwork, metalwork and craft projects for our members to use.

Whether you are looking for somewhere to work on a project, want to spend time in the company of other crafters, or need a place with the space and equipment to realise your creative vision, then Shedders and Fixers can help.

Our members have a huge range of skills, knowledge and abilities and we welcome everyone regardless of age, abilities or disabilities. We are wheelchair accessible and aim to be fully inclusive for all. Just drop in during our opening times or contact us for more details.

Inside Shedders and Fixers polytunnel. We have three main areas: A large woodworking area, a self-contained metalwork shed and a separate crafting shed. There is also a kitchen area where we gather for our hard-earned tea and biscuits (and on occasion, a bacon or sausage bap!)

We’ve seen lots of new crafters join us, bringing all their knowledge and skills, and we’ve held lots of successful workshops already this year, but that is just the start. Cambridgeshire Community Lottery

Shedders are always looking for way to raise funds so we can keep our shed open and continue to offer workshops and events. The Cambridgeshire Community Lottery is just one of those ways that helps us to raise a regular income, whilst giving our supporters the chance to win cash and other prizes. 

Each ticket costs just £1.00 each week and 50p of that is passed directly to Shedders and Fixers. One ticket entitles you to one entry into a lottery draw which takes place every Saturday, with a top prize of £25000. On top of that, each month sees a Super Draw prize as well, which can be anything! Recent Super Draw prizes have been a Luxury City Break, a Home Robot Bundle, £1000 of Aldi vouchers, and a Nintendo Switch 2 Mega Bundle!!!

In the last few months alone, the lottery has raised £200 from the sale of tickets to friends, family, Shedders and Fixers members and our supporters. With this money we have been able to book places for First Aid training for 2 of our members. That has allowed us to increase the availability of First Aiders during opening hours, our workshops and other on-site events.
