Shedders and Fixers is a charitable organisation run by a group of dedicated, hard-working volunteers. We are based in a polytunnel shed near Wisbech, on the site of Secret Garden Touring Park.

Whether you are looking for somewhere to work on a project, want to spend time in the company of other crafters, or need the space and equipment to realise your creative vision, then Shedders and Fixers can help.

Our members have a huge range of skills, knowledge and abilities and we welcome everyone regardless of age, abilities or disabilities. We are wheelchair accessible and aim to be fully inclusive for all. Just drop in during our opening times or contact us for more details.

Here are just a few of the crafts you can try at Shedders and Fixers

The shed is made up of three key areas: A large woodworking space, a self-contained metalwork shed and a separate crafting shed. There is also our new kitchen space where we gather for our hard-earned tea and biscuits (and on occasion, a bacon or sausage butty!)

We’ve seen lots of new crafters join us, bringing all their knowledge and skills, and we’ve held lots of successful workshops already this year, but that is just the start. There’s so much more to come. Keep and eye on our Current Workshops and Events page for details of all the activities on offer over the next few months.

The Benefact Group: Movement for Good Awards

On top of the weekly draw, is the monthly Super Draw. This week saw the launch of our new workshop newsletter – The Crafty Calendar. We’ll post the PDF here at the end of each month so you can see all our upcoming workshops, including dates & times, costs and a brief synopsis.

The Crafty Calendar will also be circulated to our members via email during the last week of the month, so you can see what’s on offer at Shedders and Fixers, and get in quick to reserve your spot!

A Message from Viv How…

I have taken on the task of posting photos of ‘goings on’ in The Shed – this will encompass workshops (where I can’t attend I rely on others to pass on suitable images) and some of the daily workings. Hopefully this will be a fortnightly posting but I would ask you to bear with me as it’s not my usual forte. If there is anything you feel I should include please let me know.
