Shedders and Fixers wish to say a big Thank You to all our followers for your ongoing support

We are always looking for ways to raise funds so we can keep our shed open and continue to offer workshops and events. Obviously, membership is one way to do that but here are a few other ways that you can help to keep us going.

Click on our Contact Us page if you can help with any of the following, or if you need more information.

Cambridgeshire Community Lottery

The Cambridgeshire Community Lottery helps us to raise a regular income, whilst giving our supporters the chance to win cash and other prizes.

Each ticket costs just £1.00 each week and 50p of that is passed directly to Shedders and Fixers. One ticket entitles you to one entry into a lottery draw which takes place every Saturday, with a top prize of £25,000. On top of that, each month sees a Super Draw prize as well, which can be anything! Recent Super Draw prizes have been a Luxury Holiday worth £2000, a Home Robot Bundle and a Nintendo Switch 2 Mega Bundle – or take the cash-equivalent prize instead!!! The lottery also provide a ‘Refer a Friend’ code for your friends and family, and that gets you can both get entry into an exclusive draw to win £200 of Amazon Vouchers!

Thank You so much for your continued support.
Every donation helps us to make a difference to people in Wisbech and the surrounding communities.

Donations

Shedders accept all kinds of donations of equipment and materials, not just funds. Right now we are looking for the following:

Materials Needed

  • Timber
  • Sheet metal
  • Insulation Boards

Equipment Needed

  • None at present

If you have any of these items then please get in contact or come and see us.

Any other donations of materials and equipment are always welcome, however, the space within our premises is limited. If you have any large items you think we can use then please take some photos and email them to our mailbox address (admin@sheddersandfixers.org), or come down to see us and have a chat with one of our team of volunteers.

If you are also happy for us to sell donated items we cannot use, in order to raise funds for Shedders, then we would be most grateful for your permission to do so.

Recycle Your Ink Cartridges at Shedders

Shedders have an Ink Cartridge collection box so please tell your family and friends to save their old/unused/expired cartridges and bring them in to Shedders for recycling (with their original packaging if possible).

Did you know that every ink cartridge is worth between 75p- £1 to Shedders, maybe even a little more! The recycling centre prefer named brands (Epson, Brother, HP, Canon, and so on) but bring in whatever you have (we’ll take the packaging as well) and we’ll sort what can be recycled.
